KUWAIT (LifeSiteNews) – The Muslim, Middle Eastern nation of Kuwait rebuked the U.S. embassy in the country for its promotion of “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, And Intersex Pride Month.”

“Kuwait summoned a top U.S. diplomat Thursday over tweets from the American Embassy expressing support for LGBTQ rights, the country’s foreign ministry said,” NBC News reported.

A Kuwaiti administration official “handed [the U.S. diplomat] a memorandum confirming Kuwait’s rejection of what was published and stressing the need for the embassy to respect the laws and regulations in force in the State of Kuwait and the obligation not to publish such tweets in compliance with what was stipulated in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961,” according to a statement on the country’s website.

Male homosexual activity can be punished with up to seven years in prison in Kuwait, according to NBC News.

While the Biden administration pushes its LGBT agenda around the world, woke corporations have made an exception for their propaganda in Muslim-majority countries.
